Workshop on
Classifying spaces, loop spaces and finiteness
October 14-18, 2013
Program: The program of the workshop will consist of three lecture series:
- Finiteness properties of arithmetic groups (Kai-Uwe Bux) NOTES: KUB I, KUB II
- Examples of classifying spaces for proper actions (Ian Leary)
- L^2-invariants for group theorists (Roman Sauer). SLIDES: IA, IIA.
In addition there will be individual research talks and time for discussion. The workshop will start Monday morning and end on Friday at noon.
