Ronno Das, postdoc

Ronno Das er ansat fra 1. september 2021 som postdoc i sektionen Algebra og Geometri, mere specifikt i Copenhagen Centre for Geometry and Topology.
Søren Galatius vil være Ronnos mentor. Ronno arbejder med topologien i modulirum, især i sammenhænge, hvor han kan udnytte forbindelserne mellem topologi og aritmetik. Af særlig interesse for ham er ’stability type results’.
Ronno har en master fra Chennai Mathematical Institute, Indien, og tog sin ph.d. ved University of Chicago, USA, under Benson Farb. Hans afhandling havde titlen "Points and lines on cubic surfaces", hvor han beskriver “The cohomology and arithmetic statistics of the moduli spaces of smooth cubic surfaces with various geometric markings”.
