Pietro Maria Posta, ph.d.-studerende
Pietro Maria Posta er ansat som ph.d.-studerende med tilknytning til Analyse- og Quantumsektionen og QMATH-gruppen pr. 1. september 2025.
Pietro er italiener og studerede i Rom på Sapienza, hvor han tog både sin bachelor- og kandidatgrad i matematik. Han forklarer:
“Under the supervision of Professor Fabio Sciarrino and Professor Gianluca Panati, my Master's thesis developed a more general and optimised version of the parameter-shift rule, an optimisation procedure used in variational quantum algorithms, particularly focusing on the linear photonic framework.”
“My research, under the supervision of Professor Matthias Christiandl, will focus on studying the quantum computational complexity of problems related to representation theory, such as computing the multiplicities of irreducible representations in classical representation-theoretic constructions”, siger Pietro og tilføjer:
