Professor Michael Loss fra Georgia Institute of Technology besøger QMATH med Jan Philip Solovej som vært.
Michael Loss vil være gæst ved Centre for the Mathematics of Quantum Theory fra 1. april til 30. juni 2019.
Michael Loss opnåede sin ph.d. i 1982 fra ETH Zürich, med en afhandling om tre-kropsproblemet. Han er medforfatter af lærebogen Analysis (AMS 1997/2001). I 2012 blev han ”inaugural fellow” i American Mathematical Society, og blev valgt som et udenlandsk korresponderende medlem af det chilenske videnskabsakademi. Han er en af 2015-vinderne af Humboldt-prisen.
