Lukas Jannik Woike, postdoc
Lukas Jannik Woike er ansat som postdoc fra 1. oktober 2020. Han er tilknyttet sektionen Algebra & Geometri, hvor hans mentor er Nathalie Wahl.
Lukas arbejder ved grænsefladen mellem topologi, algebra og matematisk fysik. Han afsluttede sin ph.d. i juni 2020 ved universitetet i Hamborg, Tyskland, under vejledning af Christoph Schweigert. Under sin ph.d. arbejdede han på en ”orbifoldization procedure” for topologiske feltteorier.
- My interests include low-dimensional topology, representation theory, higher categories and operads, fortæller Lukas.
- In Copenhagen I will use techniques from homotopy theory to investigate non-semisimple representation categories, more specifically non-semisimple modular categories, and the differential graded modular functors constructed from them - roughly, consistent homotopy coherent mapping class group actions on certain Hochschild complexes.
