Eilers receives grant from Villum Foundation

Professor Søren Eilers has received a 5.7 million dkk grant from the VILLUM FONDEN. The project is called “Experimental mathematics in number theory, operator algebras, and topology” and involves Kasper K.S. Andersen (Lund), Ian Kiming, Jesper Michael Møller, Wojciech Szymanski (Odense) and Brian Vinter (NBI/Escience) as other senior members. It is a joint venture with the eScience Center, and the grant is mainly for postdoc salarys (3 years for a computer scientist, 3x2 years for mathematicians).
