Postdoc Ryomei Iwasa has received a € 1.5 million Starting Grant from the European Research Council for his project about Motivic Stable Homotopy Theory.

Johan Larsson is employed as a postdoc on a Thiele Data Science Fellowship from 3 September 2024, working in the Statistics and Probability section.

Alex joins the section for Statistics and Probability Theory as a postdoc working with Copenhagen Causality Lab on 1 September 2024.

Ulrik Thinggaard Hansen started on 15 July 2024 as a postdoc, working with two of the department’s sections; Statistics and Probability as well as Analysis & Quantum.

Alexander Taveira Blomenhofer was employed as a postdoc on 1 July 2024, working in the Section for Analysis & Quantum and the QMATH centre.

David Jekel started as a postdoc in Copenhagen on 1 June 2024, joining the operator algebras group in the Analysis and Quantum section and plans to work closely with Mikael Rørdam and Magdalena Musat.

Line Clemmensen joined the department as Professor of Statistics on 1 June 2024. She will be a part of the section on Statistics and Probability Theory.

Robert Burklund joins us in a permanent position, as Associate Professor of Mathematics, starting June 1, 2024.

Manaswi Paraashar joined the Department of Mathematical Sciences and the Centre for the Mathematics of Quantum Theory on 1st April 2024. He is hosted by Laura Mancinska.

Klara Leffler began as a postdoc at the Data Science Lab and the Statistics and Probability Theory section on the 1st of April 2024.

Christian Furrer was 1 February 2024 appointed Associate Professor in Actuarial Mathematics at the Department of Mathematical Sciences.

Carsten Lunde Petersen is employed in a professorship at the Department of Mathematical Sciences from 1 February 2024. He is affiliated with the section for Analysis and Quantum.

Li Liu started 15 January 2024 as a postdoc at the Centre for the Mathematics of Quantum Theory (QMATH).

Nina Lange has been employed as an assistant professor since 1 January 2024 in the section for Insurance and Economics.

Harold Adriaan Nieuwboer started on 1 January 2024 as a postdoc in the Analysis & Quantum Section, associated with the Quantum for Life Centre.
