Yufei Wang, PhD student
Yufei Wang was employed as a PhD student on 1 December 2025 in the Analysis & Quantum Section, affiliated with the Centre for the Mathematics of Quantum Theory (QMATH).
Yufei comes from China and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Information and Computational Science (Mathematics) from Xiamen University in China. She completed her master's degree in Quantum Information Science here at UCPH.
“My research interests focus on Optimization and Cryptography. I wrote my master's thesis titled 'Adaptive annealing schedules for quantum partition functions' under the supervision of Daniel Stilck França. I will continue working under his supervision for my PhD project, which will specifically explore Digital Quantum Interferometry.
“In my spare time, I enjoy playing Sichuan Mahjong and bartending”, says Yufei.
