Qingyuan Bai, PhD student
Newly employed
Qingyuan Bai was employed as a PhD student from 1 September 2022 in the section for Algebra and Geometry.
Qingyuan will be working with the Copenhagen Centre for Geometry and Topology. His supervisors is Dustin Clausen and Lars Hesselholt.
He got his bachelor’s degree from Sichuan University and his master’s degree from Peking University, both in China. His master’s thesis is on homological mirror symmetry, which is about relating categories constructed from very different contexts.
Qingyuan is interested in geometry, topology and category theory, and is still searching for an interesting PhD project.
