Jiali Deng, PhD student
Jiali Deng is employed as a PhD student from 1 September 2022 in the section of Insurance and Economics.
Jiali holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (2019) and an MSc degree (2022) from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her research interest lies in the applications of operations research theories, particularly in the fields of logistics and transportation networks.
Within the scope of optimization, Jiali is interested in developing efficient algorithmic solutions to complex problems, focusing on optimization techniques including Linear Programming, Mixed Integer Programming, Dynamic programming, Stochastic Programming, Constraint Programming, etc.
Jiali’s PhD project is supervised by Giovanni Pantuso, and the project will focus on the Mathematical Optimization of Shared Mobility Services.
