Csenge Miklós, PhD student
Csenge Miklós joined the Analysis & Quantum section on the 1st of September 2025, as a PhD student under the supervision of Mikael Rørdam and Magdalena Musat.
“Coming from Romania, I completed my bachelor’s degree in mathematics at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary. This Summer, I finished my master’s degree in mathematics at the University of Copenhagen.
“Over the past two years, I grew fond of functional analysis, and everything related, such as analysis in quantum information theory and C*-algebras. These inspired me to write my master’s thesis titled ‘Amenability at infinity and bi-exactness’, under the supervision of Magdalena Musat.
“The main theme of the PhD project is to investigate entanglement in infinite dimensions using methods from functional analysis and operator algebras. I look forward to the next three years and the opportunity to deepen my understanding of these topics”, says Csenge.
