Adela Zhang, postdoc

Adela (YiYu) Zhang started as a postdoc on 1 September 2023 at the Centre for Geometry and Topology. Her mentor is Nathalie Wahl.
Adela is interested in stable homotopy theory and its applications to manifold topology, in particular generalized configurations spaces. Recently, she has been focusing on computational methods in synthetic and equivariant stable homotopy theory.
She has a B.S. in Mathematics from 2018 and completed her PhD this July. Both from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), under the supervision of Jeremy Hahn and Haynes Miller.
