Titel: The Flat Cover Conjecture

Abstract: The purpose of this master thesis is to present a complete proof of the flat cover conjecture. This conjecture is interesting because all modules have injective envelopes, but does not in general have projective covers. Widening the class of projective modules to the class of flat modules, we can ask the question: "Does every module have a flat cover?", this question is what is called the flat cover conjecture. We shall introduce necessary theory about F-covers and cotorsion pairs to present the proof from the two articles "How To Make Ext Vanish" and "All Modules Have Flat Covers”
