NBIA algebra day

The Niels Bohr International Academy is inviting for an Algebra Day Tuesday Sept 15, where mathematicians and physicists will meet and discuss various aspects of the usefulness of algebra! There will three colloquium-style talks in the historical auditorium A at the Niels Bohr institute, and a joint lunch:

9:45 Coffee, tea, and pastries

10-10:45 David Eisenbud, Linear Equations in polynomials

10:45-11 Coffee break

11-11:45 Elisenda Feliu, Algebra and reaction networks

12-13:30 lunch at Restaurant Post

13:30-14:15 Nathalie Wahl, When are two shapes really the same?
