Title: Steady Gradient Ricci Solitons with O(p)×O(q) Symmetry.

Abstract: Steady Ricci solitons model Type II singularity formation under the Ricci flow. By utilising a procedure introduced by Lai, we construct new one-parameter families of steady gradient Ricci solitons with positive curvature operator admitting O(p)×O(q) symmetry in dimensions p+q, for any pair of integers p,q ≥ 2. These new examples can be considered as generalised ‘Flying Wing’ solitons, and are candidates for non-collapsed singularity models in dimensions 5 and above. If time permits, we shall discuss their geometry at infinity and highlight some open questions regarding their asymptotics. This is joint work with Lucas Lavoyer (Universität Münster).
