Bjorn Dundas, Applications of the Greenlees Spectral Sequence

Abstract: This talk contains ongoing research in cooperation with among others Mike Hill and Paul-Arne Ostvaer.
The Greenlees Spectral Sequence is a ”dual” form of the Serre Spectral Sequence applicable for commutative ring spectra which has proven itself useful for computations.  I plan to give a few examples displaying how reverse engineering, as in calculations of the cohomology of Eilenberg-MacLane spaces, can give simple calculations.  If time permits I’ll end by discussing an example giving a calculation in motivic homotopy theory.
