Title: Structured Real orientations and Higher real K-theories
Abstract: The higher real K-theories of Hopkins–Miller detect a substantial amount of chromatic information. However, these theories are notoriously difficult to compute. Two fruitful approaches to studying these theories are to use structured Real orientations and to construct more tractable connective models. In this talk, I will discuss about joint work with Qi Zhu that takes equivariant multiplicative structures into account. Time permitting, I will discuss applications to equivariant versions of Snaith's theorem.
