Title: A new construction for finite monodromy groups

Abstract: After explaining what finite monodromy groups of abelian
varieties are and how they relate to the semi-stability degree, I will
present a new way to construct them. This new construction relies on the
theory of p-adic representations and p-divisible groups by Fontaine, Breuil
and Kisin and holds under some condition that I will explain. To finish, I
will present some cases where the condition is met and some consequences.
