Title: Boundary rigidity of nonpositively curved simplicial complexes
Abstract: A natural question, common to several research areas, is whether the internal structure of an object can be determined from the distances between the points in its boundary. Such objects are said to be boundary rigid. In this talk, we will address a discrete version of this problem and show that finite (weakly) systolic and Helly complexes can be reconstructed from their boundary distances. The contents of this talk are joint work with Jérémie Chalopin and Victor Chepoi.
