Title: Marginally outer trapped tubes in de Sitter spacetime

AbstractA key property of Marginally Outer Trapped Surfaces (MOTS) is their (in)stability, which provides significant insights into the topology, curvature, and symmetry, etc. In this talk, we will demonstrate that for spacetimes admitting a timelike conformal Killing field, all MOTS are necessarily unstable. This class of spacetimes includes de Sitter spacetime. Additionally, for de Sitter spacetime, we will independently construct Marginally Outer Trapped Tubes (MOTTs) using a result on the existence of a complete family of CMC surfaces on S^3 by Heller, Heller, and Traizet.
