Title: Dynamical Symmetry of M-branes and Hydrodynamics.

Abstract:
The simplicity of classical string theory, and decades of presenting it
from a particular point of view have made it difficult to realize some of
the central features of relativistic extended objects, such as:
relativistic invariance implying the existence of a dynamical symmetry
(irrespective of the dimension of the extended object),
that when quantized could possibly enable one to calculate the spectrum
purely algebraically; in the codimension one case the symmetry can be formulated
in terms of a velocity-potential and density of ordinary "non-relativistic"
irrotational isentropic inviscid gas dynamics.
