Máté Telek from the University of Leipzig will give the talk with title

Toric extensions of Pólya’s theorem

This is joint work with Lorenzo Baldi, Rainer Sinn, and Julian Weigert. We study sparse copositive polynomials and provide a Pólya-type certificate for copositivity.

The talk will be informal, with plenty of time for questions and discussion.
