Title: Infinitesimal bialgebra structure for loop spaces from Floer theory

Abstract: Consider the loop product and loop coproduct on the homology of a free loop space. Sullivan conjectured that they should satisfy a derivation compatibility relation, which has remained elusive till now. In joint work with Kai Cieliebak and Nancy Hingston we defined a new homological invariant for loop spaces, called extended loop homology, which provides a common domain of definition for the product and coproduct, and on which Sullivan’s relation holds. Our methods are symplectic in nature.
