Title: Torsion growth in unstable homotopy groups

Abstract: The asymptotic structure of rational homotopy groups is a well-established topic containing some deep and beautiful results. The study of p-local asymptotics, however, only really began in 2017, with work of Jie Wu and Ruizhi Huang. I'll explain what we currently know, and how their program fits into a larger picture - especially how it relates to a famous conjecture of Moore. I'll finish by telling you how to compute p-local growth properties for your favourite space.

Note the unusual date and time.
