Statistical methods for the Biosciences I, block 2, 2022
This is the homepage of the above PhD course given by the Data Science Laboratory hosted by the
Department of Mathematical Sciences and the Department of Computer Science. This homepage contains different sorts of information and material such as course plans,
slides, exercises and R files. The lecturer is Bo Markussen, with assistence of Ulises Bercovich Szulmajster.
Course information and material
- Credits: 4.5 ECTS.
- Software: R (homepage), RStudio (homepage).
Both programs are free and open source. You may learn more and download the programs from the homepages.
- Book: Martinussen, Skovgaard, Sørensen, "A first guide to statistical computations in R", Biofolia 2012, ISBN 978-87-913-1956-3. The book is available from Academic books (homepage) on Frederiksberg Campus.
You old textbook on introductory statistics (whatever that is) might also be usefull.
