Primary fields of research
The goal of my research is to contribute to our mathematical understanding of quantum physics with special emphasis on the interplay between quantum matter and quantum information.
Recent projects focused on the entanglement dynamics of chaotic systems, quantifying computational complexity in field theories, thermalization in isolated systems and the energy cost of entanglement extraction. I am also exploring the geometry of non-Gaussian variational manifolds to study ground state properties, low lying excitations and linear response of strongly interacting quantum systems. Useful tools include differential geometry, theory of Lie groups & algebras, functional analysis and Gaussian methods for bosonic and fermionic systems.
