Søren Eilers

Professor

My research area is operator algebra with a special emphasis on classification of C*-algebras associated to discrete or low-dimensional structures. I work to enhance experimental (computer-based) methods in pre mathematics, and am passionate about dissemitaion of mathematical ideas both in teaching and outreach.

Primary fields of research

Operator algebras, K-theory, symbolic dynamics, discrete mathematics

Current research

I am a member of the network "Automorphisms and Invariants for Operator Algebras" funded by the Danish Independent Research Fund.
