Titel: An Exploration of Valid Adjustment Sets in Partially Directed Acyclic Graphs
Abstract: This thesis will concern itself with partially Directed acyclic graphs. PDAGs are often causal graphs that is only used to define the more common types of graphs like CPDAGs, but they still contain some causal knowledge. This thesis will ways to adapt already established concepts like possibly causal paths to the PDAG setting, whilst also presenting multiple sufficient criterion for valid adjustment. This is done by introducing a new type of partially directed acyclic graph, and define the different types of non-causal paths there exists in NACPDAGs and potential methods to ensure that the non-causal paths are blocked in all DAGs in a class described by a PDAG.
