The 2015 Ostrowski Prize was 30 October awarded to Professor Peter Scholze, University of Bonn, Germany. The Department of Mathematical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, was hosting the event.
Organizer from MATH was Christian Berg, president of the Ostrowski Prize Jury.
Head of Department Erik Kjær Pedersen gave the welcoming remarks; Professor Helmut Harbrecht, University of Basel, talked about A.M. Ostrowski and the Ostrowski Prize; Professor Gerd Faltings, University of Bonn, gave the laudation about the work of Scholze.
Then Professor Peter Scholze gave his Ostrowski Prize Lecture: “On some relations between topology and number theory”. After the lecture there was a reception in front of Auditorium 1.
