The 26th Nordic Conference in Mathematical Statistics (Nordstat) was held in Copenhagen at the Department of Mathematical Sciences 27-30 June 2016. The conference had 140 participants from the Nordic countries, seven plenary speakers and 37 other speakers from all the Nordic countries, UK, Switzerland and the United States.

Poster sessions

"Our poster session with so-called 'flash talks' - two-minute presentations of each poster in the plenary - was praised by participants. The poster session was very successful with 48 posters of high quality”, says Niels Richard Hansen, Department of Mathematical Sciences. He says that the organizers received praise for both the scientific program and the practical organization.

Frederick's poster was titled: "Degrees of Freedom for piecewise Lipschitz estimators".
