Cody Gunton, postdoc at SYM

Cody got his Bachelor's Degree at New College of Florida. He completed his PhD at the University of Arizona in May 2018 under the direction of Bryden Cais. His thesis is titled “Torsion 1-crystalline representations and Néron models of semi-stable abelian varieties over p-adic fields”.

In Copenhagen, Cody joins the Algebra and Number Theory Group. His research focuses on questions in p-adic Hodge theory and the theory of degenerations of algebraic varieties.
