PhD stipends in Mathematics (2021)
A number of attractive PhD stipends in mathematics are available at Department of Mathematical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. Application deadline Nov 15, 2020.
There will be PhD stipends available in:
- Algebraic and Arithmetic Geometry, Combinatorics, Geometry and Geometric Analysis, Number Theory, Representation Theory, and Topology as covered by the section Algebra & Geometry and the Copenhagen Center for Geometry & Topology (GeoTop).
- Functional analysis, operator algebras, descriptive set theory, harmonic and classical analysis, history of mathematics, mathematical physics, partial differential equations and quantum information theory as covered by the section Analysis and Quantum and the Centre for the Mathematics of Quantum Theory
- Applied algebra in biology, under the supervision of Elisenda Feliu.
There will be a limited number of free PhD stipends in all areas of mathematics not attached to specific projects. You are welcome to contact any member of the department to discuss specific research projects.
Your application and all supporting documents must be submitted no later than 15 November 2020.
The expected starting date is September 1, 2021.
