Professorship in Stochastics ---------------------------- Applicants are invited for a full professorship (W3-Universitaetsprofessor) available at the Institute of Mathematics, Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany, from October 1st, 2005. Candidates should be internationally recognized experts in one of the key areas of Stochastics, with special emphasis on Mathematical Statistics. The successful applicant is expected to carry out original research in stochastics and its applications, teaching and coordinate teaching activities in probability, in particular statistics, both at the advanced and at the undergraduate level. Qualified female scientists are especially encouraged to apply for this position. Disabled persons with equal ability are prefered.
