Harald Bohr archival material
The Harald Bohr archival material is divided into a few categories in the
following survey.
- Manuscripts by Bohr are almost
all in the Harald
Bohr Papers at the Archive,
Institute for Mathematical Sciences, University of Copenhagen,
where they are listed and described.
- Correspondence. More than 1000 letters
to or from Bohr has been located. Lists of correspondents including language,
location and short descriptions are given.
- A collection of reprints
was left by Bohr and it is shortly described.
- A collection of books
was left by Bohr and it is shortly described.
- Photos of Bohr, his family, other relatives and colleagues
can be found in folder
5, box 1, Harald Bohr Papers and in the Niels Bohr Papers at the
Niels
Bohr Archive, and in private possession of Hanne Bohr (daughter
of Harald Bohr).
- Interviews of relatives, colleagues, students etc. of Bohr
was made in 1993 by Kurt Ramskov and they are in folder
56 and 57, box 16-17, Harald Bohr Papers.
- Other archival material includes notes taken by students
who attended Bohr's
lectures. Jessen's notes are in box
30, Břrge Jessen Papers, at the Archive,
Institute for Mathematical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.
Leon Rosenfeld's notes to Bohr's lectures on almost periodic functions
in Göttingen are at the Niels
Bohr Archive, while Edward Hubert Linfoot's notes to the same
lectures are at the Trinity College
Library, Cambridge.
