Studier på engelsk (Studies in english)
  All courses in the mathematical sciences are offered in english with a few exceptions:

• First year bachelor courses are taught in danish only. Text books may be in english, but as of this moment no consideration is taken to foreign students for the first year courses.
• Certain courses (typically of didactic, theory of science and similar nature or courses where the study board has deemed it essential that the danish notation is known to the students) are taught in danish only. It may be possible to follow these courses for non danish speaking as partly self study with advising. Ask the teacher or the study board.
• A few courses are in a transition phase, where teaching material is available only in danish. These courses has been given time dependent dispensations to be conducted in danish.
• Statistics courses are not necessarily given in english. It will typically be possible to follow these courses for non danish speaking as partly self study with advising. Ask the teacher or the study board.

  We do not at present offer internships, neither paid nor unpaid. It is possible however to enroll for shorter periods to do project work. An advisor will be assigned to assist in the writing of a project on a specific subject chosen by the student. Please note that there is a tuition fee for this. If you are interested, please contact studienaevn@math.ku.dk for details. Please include also a suggestion for a project topic.
  Contact the international office about practicalities. Note that the international office currently is helping exchange and guest students but NOT international degree students.
  We offer a complete master degree in mathematics in english.

To take the degree, start the process filling out this application form in PDF format or in MS-Word format. Be avare that the application process may be lengthy, including apart from scientific merits also formalities about visa, housing and other.

Åbent universitet (Open University)
  Det er muligt, mod betaling, at følge enkeltkurser i de matematiske fag. Se Det naturvidenskabelige Fakultets webside om Åbent Universitet.
(It is possible to enroll as a student for a single (or more) courses in the mathematical sciences under the Open University program. Each course must be payed for. The information material is only available in Danish (see the link above). The short version in english is: 1. Contact the secretary of the study board. 2. The price is (2004) 200 kr. pr. ECTS-point. As the typical size of a course is 7½ ECTS-points, the price will be 1500 kr. for a typical course.)
