Most of you have visited Copenhagen before and will be able to manage on your own. In case you have forgotten something, I hope the following lines could be helpful.- The conference takes place at the building "H. C. Ørsted Institutet" which houses the mathematics institute.
- The address is Universitetsparken 5, DK-2100 Copenhagen Ø.
- The telephone for the institute is +45 3532 0723.
- Please contact Erik in the case you have problems in finding your way. The number is +45 2636 2957.
Transportation to hotels
There is a train line from the airport, Terminal 3 to the stations in the center of the city. A cab from a city-station to your hotel is at least 100 DKK, but can easily get to 200 DKK, or even more..Public transportation in general
The principle is that a ticket for the public transportation system is valid for all trains and busses within a certain area in a fixed amount of time.
Getting to the university.
The mathematics Institute is about 3 km from the center of the town, so most people like to use a bus. There are 5 lines which get very near to the institute, and those are the ones with the numbers 42, 43, 150S, 184, 185. You can get them all from the station named Nørreport. You can reach Nørreport from the central station Hovedbanegården.
Clicking here gives you a search engine in English, which wil accept any two points A,B as input and give you a description on how to get from A to B via public transportation. We all look forward to see you.
