Information for foreign students

The Department of Mathematical Sciences welcomes applications from foreign students. Foreign students may visit the institute either as exchange students through an agreed program such as Erasmus, Tempus or Nordplus or as guest students. Foreign students may also become fully enrolled at the University. For details please consult the Rules of Admission for foreign students.

The website of the international office at the University of Copenhagen has useful practical and academic information for prospective visiting students. The international office also handles the admission of foreign students. The website http://www.international.ku.dk provides information about the university, studies, admission ect.

The Institute for Mathematical Sciences offers a large variety of courses taught in English. Please consult the Copenhagen University course catalog

Foreign students should read this catalog in preparing their study program for the visit. Foreign students must register for courses by early June for fall semester courses and early December for spring semester courses.
