Algebra/Topology Seminar by Anthony Blanc (MPIM Bonn) Title: Formal deformations of categories Abstract: I will report on a joint work with Katzarkov and Pandit about the deformation theory of klinear dgcategories for a field k. In general, the Hochschild cohomology complex parametrizes curved A_infty deformations. After the work of Lurie, we show that under boundedness and the existence of a compact generator, every formal deformation is uncurved and possesses a compact generator. The proof uses a new description of the space of deformations in terms of !group actions on the category.

Algebra/Topology Seminar by Rune Haugseng (Copenhagen) Title: The AKSZ construction in derived algebraic geometry as an extended TQFT Abstract: The AKSZ construction, as implemented by PantevToënVaquiéVezzosi in the context of derived algebraicvgeometry, gives a symplectic structure on the derived stack of maps from an oriented compact manifold to a symplectic derived stack. I will describe how this gives rise to a family of extended topological field theories valued in higher categories of symplectic derived stacks, with the higher morphisms given by a notion of higher Lagrangian correspondences. This is joint work in progress with Damien Calaque and Claudia Scheimbauer.

Algebra/Topology Seminar by Manuel Araújo (Oxford) Title: A presentation of the fully extended three dimensional framed bordism category Abstract: I will start with a short introduction to Topological Field Theory. Then I will explain how to obtain a finite presentation of the fully extended three dimensional framed bordism category, using the cobordism hypothesis.

Algebra/Topology Seminar by Sergio Estrada (University of Murcia). Title: Very flat modules and sheaves. Abstract: Very flat and contraadjusted modules naturally arise in Algebraic Geometry. They were defined by Positselski [arXiv:1209.2995]. We will summarize the main properties of these modules and of the corresponding class of sheaves. We will define a mock homotopy category of projectives on a quasicompact and semiseparated scheme by using very flat quasicoherent sheaves and show the existence of a recollement among the different homotopy categories involved.
