Derivators and stable derivators

Titel: Derivators and Stable Derivators

Abstract: In this thesis, we study the notion of a derivator, which is a mathematical object in abstract homotopy theory. We also introduce two other notions, that of a model category and that of a homotopy category, motivated by classical homotopy theory. We describe how the derivator lies between the model category and the homotopy category, retaining certain information that is lost in passage from the model category to the homotopy category. In the final chapter, we consider these three concepts in the context of stable homotopy theories and we show how the homotopy category of a stable homotopy theory inherits a canonical triangulated category structure
