Title: Equivariant Kirchberg-Phillips-type absorption for amenable group actions

Abstract: In the context of the Elliott program, the celebrated Kirchberg-Phillips absorption theorems for the Cuntz algebras O_2 and O_\infty have proved to be not just a strikingly beautiful insight into the structure of simple nuclear C*-algebras, but also an important precursor to the classification in the purely infinite case. In this talk, I will present an equivariant analog of these results for actions of amenable groups, with respect to certain model actions on the Cuntz algebras. I will explain how strongly self-absorbing C*-dynamical systems enter naturally into this context and indicate what features the model actions possess that makes this possible. If time permits, I will also discuss some uniqueness results related to these absorption theorems, which to my knowledge forms the first C*-dynamical classification result that is applicable for all amenable groups.
