Maria Ramirez-Solano, postdoc
Newly employed
Maria Ramirez-Solano was hired as a postdoc at the Department of Mathematical Sciences February 1st, 2014.
She is working with the research group Non-Commutative Geometry and the Centre for Symmetry and Deformation.
Maria works in the research area of operator algebras and tilings. She is currently working with Uffe Haagerup on the experimental side of the investigation of the Thompson group F.
Maria has a PhD in Mathematics from Copenhagen University. Part of her PhD thesis involved computer experiments while investigating a non-standard hierarchical tiling.
Her office is 04.1.18.
