Postdoc

Lars Lau Raket has been employed as a postdoctoral researcher in the Statistics and Probability Theory group.

Color and shape variations of three Prussian carp.

Color and shape variations of three Prussian carp.

His main research focus is on developing statistical methodology for aligning curve, image and shape data under the influence of stochastic shape variation. These types of variation occur on all levels of biological data: from the shape variation between healthy cells and cancer cells up to  the variation in shape and color of entire organisms (see image).

Lars' postdoc mentor will be associate professor Bo Markussen.

Lars occupies office 04.3.25 (and Wall Street).
