Salvador Pineda associate professor
The Dean has appointed Salvador Pineda Morente as associate professor in operations research at the Department of Mathematical Sciences.
Salvador Pineda received his PhD from the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain) in 2011. In 2011, he joined the Technical University of Denmark as a postdoc. Since 2013 he has been assistant professor at the research group Insurance and Economics at Department of Mathematical Sciences, UCPH.
His research interests fall within the fields of operations research, economics and energy systems, and comprise mathematical programming and techniques of optimization under uncertainty, hierarchical optimization, equilibrium and complementarity problems, financial instruments and risk management, investment models, market design, integration of renewable energy sources and energy systems modeling.
