Michal Adamaszek, postdoc

Postdoc

Michal Adamaszek started in a postdoc position at the Department of Mathematical Sciences December 1st 2014. He is associated with research group Experimental Mathematics.

Michal AdamaszekPreviously, Michal worked at the University of Bremen and at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics in Saarbruecken, Germany. 

In 2001-2007 he studied Mathematics and Computer Science University of Warsaw, Poland. He obtained a M.Sc. in Computer Science in 2006 and M.Sc. in Mathematics the year after.

He received his PhD in 2012 from the University of Warwick, UK, under the supervision of John Jones and Artur Czumaj.

His research is concentrated around combinatorial algebraic topology with connections to graph theory, applied topology and face enumeration. He is also interested in algorithmic and probabilistic aspects of these topics and often does computer experiments as part of his work.
