Introduktion til Partielle Differentialligninger 2002

Introduction to Partial Differential Equations 2002. ( The course will be given in English, if there are participants who do not understand Danish.)

 

Velkommen til Introduktion til Partielle Differentialligninger E2002.

Forelæsningerne, der starter 3. september 2002, foregår tirsdag 13-15 i aud. 9 og torsdag 9-11 i aud. 8. Som tekst benyttes:

Forelæser er Gerd Grubb, som træffes på H. C. Ørsted Institutet, lokale E203, tlf 35320743, e-mail: <grubb@math.ku.dk>. Kurset vil blive afholdt på engelsk, såfremt der er udlændinge til stede som ikke forstår dansk.

Kurset henvender sig til såvel matematikstuderende som mat-øk-studerende. Det er først og fremmest den grundlæggende teori, der vil blive satset på, gennemgået på en måde der kræver relativt få forudsætninger. Bogen indeholder ikke ret meget materiale om anvendelser, så hvis der er ønsker om at tage specielle sådanne emner op, må det drøftes ved forelæsningerne.

 

Her er en foreløbig plan for hvad der vil blive gennemgået fra kapitlerne i bogen:

  1. Indledning. Nødvendig notation og forudsætninger, fra Appendix.
  2. Fire vigtige lineære tilfælde, klassiske metoder til behandling af dem:
    1. Transportligningen.
    2. Laplace's ligning (elliptisk).
    3. Varmeledningsligningen (parabolsk).
    4. Bølgeligningen (hyperbolsk).
  3. (Ikke-lineære førsteordensligninger overspringes i første omgang.)
  4. Andre explicitte metoder, særligt med henblik på parabolske ligninger:
    1. Lidt om separation af de variable.
    2. Fourier transformation.
  5. Generelle metoder. Specielt redskabet: Sobolev rum.
  6. Elliptiske problemer. Variationelle metoder.
  7. Problemer med tidsudvikling (primært parabolske problemer). Galerkin's metode, semigruppe metoden.

 Endvidere er der udarbejdet supplerende noter, som efterhånden vil kunne hentes fra denne hjemmeside.
