In this seminar, two Ph.D.-students (Helmut Abels visiting from Darmstadt, and Lars Hansen, inscribed at DTU with advisors Michael Pedersen (DTU) and Gerd Grubb(KU)) will go through the basics of how to handle differential and pseudodifferential operators on two types of manifolds: those with boundary and those with singularities such as edges and corners
So we plan a number of lectures on pseudodifferential boundary operators (for manifolds with boundary) by Helmut Abels, and a number of lectures on Melrose's b-calculus (for manifolds with edges and corners) by Lars Hansen.
In some weeks, the Tuesday seminar at KU is replaced by a Wednesday seminar at DTU.
