Symbolic Dynamics: Prerequisites
We require a mathematical background corresponding to the first two
years of the Mathematics program at the University of Copenhagen. Of
this, we are going to need mainly the following subjects:
- Linear algebra
- Metric spaces
- One-variable calculus
- Groups, rings, fields
